Developers

If you are a developer that want to use CCAPI. You have a several option:

  • You can use the demo codes provided in the CCAPI Package for Developers (download link is below). You may find some example for a few languages such as C/C++/C#.
  • You can also use imcsx's implementation for C#, the specificity is that it is also compatible with TMAPI.
  • Finally if your programming language is not supported, or if you prefer to make your own implementation, it is possible to directly import the functions from CCAPI.dll yourself. The main functions to achieve that are LoadLibrary/GetProcAddress from the WINAPI, you can find them in a lot of languages C/C++/.net/Java, etc.

The CCAPI (Windows) documentation is available here: Win documentation

The CCAPI (Others) documentation is available here: (Not yet)

For those having problems with CCAPI crashing games and those things, I've installed the version 2.70 Rev6 and it started having errors of system,  so I went to recovery and restored the PS3's database. After that I went back to recovery and restored the file system and it gave no more errors. I don't know if this works for other versions or other cases but worked for me (it is/was on PSXHAX), but I hope this helps someone having the problems.

I already did it. You're a bit late :-P. But thanks anyway! I decided to keep 4.81.2 DEX with 2.70 Rev6 (I don't care about trophies). REBUG 4.80 has an annoying notification with fake save games. But thanks for giving the idea to change the CCAPI version! Now it's working perfectly!

Yup. Downgrading is safe. No data will get deleted. Just make sure that "Toggle QA Flag" is ENABLED before downgrading in Rebug Toolbox. Firmware isn't the issue, CCAPI is.
I realised that the hard way using 6 different firmware all using CCAPI 2.80 rev 3 and still crashing and giving firmware issues.

Thanks! But I have a problem with that: I installed Rebug 4.82.2 D-REX (I had 4.81.2 D-REX) because I thought the problem could be the firmware (only then I realized it had nothing to do with it). Is it safe do downgrade to 4.80.1?

@Galveia
Use Rebug 4.80.1 D-REX and CCAPI 2.70 rev5.
It works for me and I have no issues now! :D
Really wish all these issues are fixed in the next revision of CCAPI!
